Update Feb 2023: The photo shown is of the old observation parking lot location which is no longer accessible due to the expansion of the perimeter of the airport. The new observation area is just off Old Dowd Road (Just like you were driving to the former location). I think it is about half the side of the former lot. No picnic tables in the lot but a number of bench seats. There is an area right across the access roadway where space has been made for food trucks and there are some picnic tables there.
