Description: Large open park with a dark, wooded area in the northwest corner at the end of St. Catherine's St. The area is a small, overgrown community garden and orchard, with small trails and stone steps cut into a sloping hillside. Lots of bamboo and blackberries.
Get into the wooded area from the top or middle of the concrete stairs going from St. Catherine's down to Great Northern Way.
Careful not to make too much noise, as it is close to an apartment building. Lots of families, joggers, and passersby regularly take the concrete stairs, so not really possible to play before later in the evening/night, and of course, when it's dark.
