Description: Abbey Fields is a large area of common land just to the south of Colchester town center, surrounded by Circular Roads North, East, South & West. It is bordered by residential areas as well as the town's army garrison. The council keep it well maintained and is frequently mown, so during the day it is a very popular spot for walkers, cyclists and people just wanting to relax. However due to its size, abundant trees and lack of any lighting it is ideal as a cruising area after dark. However it is always very quiet and if more guys checked it out.
