At Heworth Leisure Centre we have a range of fitness classes for all levels and abilities.
FlowRider
Ever wanted to try surfing but could not find the waves? Now is your chance! At Heworth Leisure Centre you can experience the thrill of catching and riding a wave on the North Easts only indoor surfing and body boarding FlowRider.
Gym
The 200sqm gym features state of the art equipment with iPod connectivity, touch screen technology and USB connection. This fantastic equipment is supplied by Technogym who are providing the fitness equipment for training venues and the Athlete's Village for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Swimming Pools
After all of these activities why not cool down in one of the two pools, including our 4 lane 25m main pool, take the kids to the fun pool or try our FlowRider.
