Description: East Berkshire's busiest cruise spot. Not to be confused with the Maidenhead Butterfly Trail (2 miles further south, nearer to Maidenhead), this layby is off the A404 northbound close to the villages of Bisham and Hurley. In 2012, the council took action to clear some of the bushes and undergrowth at this once-popular Berkshire cruise location. However, since that time, the undergrowth has started to grow back. There is adequate parking in the lay-by, and many guys walk up the bank and onto the quiet country lane behind. Best places are up the top near the end of the lane in a secluded overgrown concrete-paved area, or walk down the lane into the woods at the end, or under the tunnel and up the slope into yet more deep woods.
