Description: Use the access road near the Colfax exit to get to this trailhead. The lot is off the beaten path, but sometimes may be checked out by the local sheriff. There's a stalled bathroom you can have fun in your car/truck, or you can head down the trail a bit to get off in the woods. ***Be sure to know what poison oak looks like if you go off-trail because it’s all over the foothills. You’ll get poison oak from the leaves AND branches.
